Wish for change?
Sometimes life brings us to a turning point. At first vaguely, then with increasing clarity, we sense that we want to change something, but often can’t quite put our finger on what – and especially, how. And the longer we carry this undefined feeling along, the more exhausted and dissatisfied we feel – both at work and in our personal lives. If this resonates with you, it could be the perfect time to take a fresh look at yourself and your desires. My life coaching in Berlin offers you a calm, safe space to reexamine your inner world, find new paths, and explore what truly motivates you, what is truly important to you. As an experienced coach, I work gently, with empathy, patience, and structure. I support you on your journey towards shaping your life according to your wishes, values and needs – moving from wanting to doing.

Life Coaching: your life, your boundaries, your goals
Life coaching is a form of coaching designed to help you clarify your goals and overcome inner obstacles that hinder your progress, as well as recognize your personal boundaries and communicate effectively. In this way, you can learn to live a more conscious and fulfilling life. Coaching takes the form of ongoing guidance and promotes your personal development, impacting both your professional and personal satisfaction.
Coaching is not therapy. This means that as a coach, I do not aim to cure mental disorders or process past experiences. Life coaching focuses on the present and the future. It’s about activating resources, strengthening your inner confidence, making decisions, and implementing changes in practice.
If you are unsure whether you need coaching or psychotherapy, I can help you find out what kind of support would be suitable at the given moment of your life. Since I am also trained and practice as a psychotherapist, I can help you clarify your needs and possible symptoms in order to find the best therapeutic approach for you – and help you find out where to turn to for support.
As your life-coach, I work with you to identify your individual goals and plan concrete steps based on those goals. The topics we address in life coaching can vary greatly:
- career-related topics, work-life balance,
- strengthening your self-confidence and personal agency,
- improving your relationships and communication,
- motivation, achieving goals, developing a life-vision,
- stress management and resilience
As your life-coach, I will ask you targeted questions throughout the coaching process, open opportunities for reflection, and support you in developing new perspectives. We will explore your personal strengths and abilities and build upon them. I will not give you pre-packaged advice, but rather gently and systematically guide you towards developing your own unique solutions – based on your values and needs.
Life coaching can take place as a single session, or as a series of sessions over a longer period of time, in the form of conversations, exercises, or structured reflection methods – but always with plenty of time, calm, and a clear structure.
Important: Life coaching is not psychotherapy. It is a valuable support for psychologically stable individuals who want to actively work on themselves and their life goals. Since I am also trained in psychotherapy, I can offer you the option of transitioning from the coaching into psychotherapy with me, if needed, or recommend you a suitable therapy for your current situation. In psychotherapy, we will work together to help you regain your inner stability.
What are your personal topics?
Life coaching is a consuting method that supports you in achieving greater clarity, self-confidence, inner balance, and personal agency – in all areas of life. Many different topics can be the focus of the coaching process.
Self-confidence and personal agency
One of the goals of life coaching is to offer you support for your personal development, to help you understand yourself better, to utilize your own potential, and to shape your life more consciously and in accordance with your values. Through targeted questions and reflection processes, you will learn to recognize beliefs and inner patterns – and in this way, gain greater self-awareness and clarity. This will encourage you to act more consciously, instead of unconsciously reacting to external expectations or old habits.
Life coaching fosters your self-confidence, personal agency, and responsibility towards yourself. You will experience that you can find your own solutions and shape change.
Another focus of life coaching is strengthening your goal orientation. Many people feel they want “more” in life, but don’t know exactly what that “more” looks like. Life coaching helps you formulate your personal concerns, goals, and life visions and align them with your own values. This has an impact on many areas of your life—both professional and private.
Greater personal agency empowers you to cope better with challenges. As your coach, I support you in developing new perspectives on difficult situations and creating constructive strategies for dealing with them. This will increase your ability to handle stress, conflicts, or setbacks with greater composure.
Work-Life-Balance
Often, situations of overload arise because we as humans unconsciously act according to external expectations. This easily causes our own expectations to fade into the background. The longer we do this, the more “normal” it feels. We feel more dissatisfied and incapable of acting, without knowing exactly why. Life coaching can make an important contribution to improving your work-life balance by offering you practical support in setting priorities more consciously and drawing healthy boundaries between your job and your private life. Life coaching helps you gain clarity about your own values, needs, and resources—about what is really important to you. From this, you can derive strategies for improving your work-life balance that are suitable for everyday use.
With the support of solution-oriented coaching, you will have the opportunity to examine and consciously balance your various life roles – your role at work, in your family, and in your partnership. The overarching theme here is “self-care.” You can gain the ability to set boundaries and say “no” – without guilt.
Life coaching can help you develop structures that will enable you to prioritize tasks, integrate breaks, and establish sustainable work rhythms. This will improve your self-organization and time management, which in turn will positively impact your work-life balance.
The goal of life coaching is not short-term relief, but moving towards a way of life that combines professional happiness and personal well-being. You can learn to develop greater self-efficacy and experience that any kind of balance is not a static state but an ongoing process – a flow.
Job satisfaction
Job dissatisfaction may arise not only from external circumstances, but also from internal conflicts, a lack of perspective, or untapped potential. If you feel that your job—whether you’re self-employed, employed, or in a leadership position—is not aligned with your values, if you’re merely “going through the motions,” and you lack intrinsic motivation, your life coach can offer valuable support to bring about necessary change.
Coaching helps you to design your work more consciously, in a self-determined way and in line with your personal values by bringing your motives to your awareness, strengthening your self-confidence and personal agency and by encouraging you to question professional role models and established patterns.
Life coaching promotes your awareness of your own strengths, potentials and possibilities, thereby opening up new paths to important decisions.
This doesn’t mean you need to change careers. Disagreements within a team or with superiors are among the most common stressors in the workplace. By improving communication and actively cultivating relationships, you can learn to deal with conflicts constructively, communicate your own needs clearly, and also be more empathetic towards others. Like many things in life, job satisfaction often depends not only on external circumstances but also on our inner attitude – a balance between commitment and self-care.
Relationships
In every relationship, disagreements, arguments, discussions, and conflicts arise from time to time. This applies to professional settings as well as partnerships, families, and friendships. Life coaching can contribute in many ways to improving communication in relationships—and thus making your interactions with others easier and more enjoyable. The focus of my coaching is on your individual personal development.
When you have a better understanding of yourself, you can also interact with others more authentically, clearly, and openly. Self-reflection and strengthening your awareness help you recognize unrealistic expectations, old, outdated patterns, and past experiences that shape your relationships. With the help of life coaching, you can learn to recognize your own needs, emotions, and reactions. The clarity gained in this way forms the basis for honest and respectful communication and stable, enriching partnerships.
Furthermore, life coaching helps you to explore, define, represent, maintain, and communicate your own boundaries without conflict.
The skills gained through the coaching process enable you to take responsibility for your own behavior and improve your inner independence. This also has a positive effect on relationships: those who are not guided by the expectations of others can create freer and more balanced relationships.
Similar conflicts often recur within relationships. As a coach, I support you in recognizing these patterns and finding new ways of dealing with conflict – at work, in your partnership, and in your interactions with friends and family. Those who are at peace with themselves and aware of their values can cultivate relationships on equal footing. Life coaching strengthens your inner stability – the foundation for genuine connection.
Challenging phases of life
Life sometimes presents us with situations where familiar structures, roles, or certainties are shaken. Whether it’s job loss or career changes, separation, divorce, loss of a relative, children leaving home, illness, or existential crises: these challenging phases are a part of life, but they can bring profound uncertainty, disorientation, or emotional strain. They are times of upheaval when old patterns no longer fit, and the new path is still unclear. Life coaching can provide effective support here by creating clarity and orientation and helping you activate your existing resources. By helping you consciously perceive your own strengths and values, boundaries, abilities, and the particular skills and resources which you have developed through these significant changes, you can draw new energy, gain stability and self-confidence, to cope with uncertainty, anxiety, or doubt.
